Hebert & Thomson Insurance Ageny, Inc. was formed in 1987, thru a merger of two agencies in Franklin, La. that had insurance roots that dated back to the 1940's. It has become one of the largest locally owned agencies because of its stong commitment to customer service and professional employees.
In 1998, Hebert & Thomson became a member of Northlake Insurance Group, Ltd., one of the largest and oldest cluster agencies in the state. They represent most of the major insurance companies operating in Louisiana.
In 1999, the agency opened a branch sales office in Lafayette and does business there under the trade name of Thomson, Smith & Leach Insurance Agency. It serves the Lafayette Acadiana area with the same quality companies and professional staff as the Franklin office.
